PARKSEN – CREATING SMART AND CONNECTED CITIES


As the world advances, our level of connection also grows with it. Before the emergence of the internet who would have thought we would be able to connect to one another on a global scale? But here we are, with distance no longer a barrier to our day-to-day activities.
If there is one thing which technology has also thought us since we began this journey, is that we are only as limited to our realization as our mind.
Despite the development of technology and the technological heights in which we have scaled in recent times, the transportation industry has greatly suffered due to its lack of connection which has resulted in a couple of challenges for drivers in various countries.
THE CHALLENGE
The following are challenges which has faced drivers and also impacted on our environment:
  • Loss of money and time: due to the lack of connection in the transportation industry, drivers spend more time seeking for packing spaces and at the end of the day still end up paying more than they should. The lack of a means to reserve packing space ahead of time end up leading to congestion on the road.
  • Outdated systems: various cities and packing lots (garage) make use of varying software and hardware. Therefore, making them to function independently, because of the lack of cooperation between the various parties, many parking lots remain unused. The lack of the use of modern technologies such as IoT devices, universal software system which should pioneer communication between the parties directly increase congestions on the road and driver getting frustrated as well as high price rate.
INTRODUCING PARKSEN
PARKSEN has seen the chaos which has risen in various countries and cities due to the absence of the needed connection, which is why they have created a solution which will transform the existing system to one which is connected and smart.
PARKSEN is creating a blockchain platform which will foster connection between drivers, parking spots and various community agencies. This will lead to the elimination of middlemen and also to the use of all parking space out there, thereby considerably reducing the price for parking space and also engendering a smart city.
STRATEGY
The PARKSEN platform has been created with the aim of improving the outdated and archaic infrastructure of this existing industry. The platform intends to completely streamline the day to day activities of people who are trapped in the heat of various busy cities.
The platform will be creating a mobile application which will provide real time information regarding the traffic situations on various routes, and will provide drivers an alternative route makes use of its guidance system.
The platform with the use of blockchain and its smart contract will be providing a means by wish garages will be able to integrate the use of their application into their existing system. This will then allow drivers to see the closest and most affordable parking spots closest to them. The platform will be making use of various IoT devices which will include smart cars.
FINAL THOUGHTS
With this innovative development, drivers will have a vast option of parking space to park their cars simply by the use of their smart phones or any other Internet of things devices such as smart watches and cars. This will allow drivers save time looking for car parks, getting stuck in traffic and making the fee for parking much more affordable.
